How we got started
A legacy of love became a mission of service.
The Silverman Mejia Foundation was established in memory of Steven Silverman, a former educator and beloved father by choice. His life reflected compassion, generosity, and a deep belief in the power of education. His legacy continues to inspire the foundation’s work and our commitment to providing food assistance, educational support, and essential resources that help individuals, families, and communities move forward with dignity, stability, and hope.
